ABSTRACT

In 6 decades of existence, UFOlogy has generated populist waves of collective paranoia and religious hallucination, but no solid evidence of extra-terrestrial crafts or visitors. In parallel, Official Science has failed to produce a novel understanding of gravity, let alone technological control of gravity. These are the intertwined structural incapacities - of mysticism and mechanism/probabilism - to comprehend nature, that together block all possibilities of a scientific and rational grasp of space propulsion and unexplained aerial phenomena that are worthy of investigation.
